Think Visibility Conference Ticket Winner(S) Are…

Last week I announced that my lastest site ConferenceCalendar.com will be sponsoring next weekends Think Visibility conference, and as the primary sponsor we receive 4 free tickets. Thanks everybody that left a comment saying why they would like to attend, it was a totally tough to choose a single winner so we’ll be giving away 3 free tickets:

Matt: As reading his comments I think he’d really benefit from attending

Richard: Comment made me laugh and I’ve met Richard before and I’m sure he’ll make the most of the opportunity

Abdul: Another gentleman I’ve known online for a long time that and who I think needs to talk and listen to people that are already somewhat successful in the industry

I’ll also be providing tickets to two of my business partners (as I’m a speaker I get an extra free ticket):

Scott Jones: If you don’t know who Scott is you’re on the wrong site, totally awesome smartest somewhat technophobe I know in the industry and have the pleasure to work with.

Marc Evans: I run the Coolest Gadgets UK site with Marc, he’s a expert .Net coder (I don’t know if that’s what he’d call himself) and a total brainiac on gadgets and technology.

If for any reason anybody listed cannot make it (you’ll need to sort out your own travel and accommodation), please let me know and I’ll give the ticket to somebody else.

If you weren’t lucky enough to win a ticket I would strongly advise taking advantage of the 30% discount code confcal, even before the discount it’s one of the most best value and friendliest conferences in town.

Finally the first 5 people at Think Visibility that tell me in person they read Self Made Minds and use Conference Calendar I’ll buy a beer on the Saturday evening (and I’m sure Scott will match that 🙂 ).

  1. Congratulations to all the winners and well done to Al for being so generous (and finding his way back from Brussells or wherever he diappeared to!)
Looking forward to write ups from each of the winners about the conference!

  2. Well done to the winners. I’ll be hunting you out for the free beer.

  3. Yes well done, hopefully I will see you there.

  4. Wow! Thanks Al!

I am really honoured! I didn’t expect that!

I guess, I need to start booking travel and accommodation now 🙂

hope to see you all there 😀

  5. Congratulations to everyone. I hope you will get a lot from attending the conference.

    Mikael

  6. Congratulations to all the winners, hope i will the one but anyway enjoy the conference and do share some moments here after its completition.

  7. The more people talk about Think Visibility the more I think I should attend!

    Congrats to the winners!

  8. Oh my word. Thank you very much! I’m hoping it’s really going to help me out.
    Very much appreciated.

  9. Whoohoo! I’m hoping the Richard mentioned is me, but I could be wrong.

Congrats to all of the winners, and a massive thank you to Al and ConferenceCalendar for putting the tickets up for grabs.

Need to sort out a hotel now! Any suggestions anyone??

    Thanks again Al!

    • LOL - I think I’m the Matt they’re talking about too.

Unfortunately though I’m not going to be able to make it to the conference. I thought I had the time to spare but it’s all caught up on me. I’ve emailed Al and let him know but it means that someone else will be getting the ticket I think.

Assuming it was me that won 🙂 many thanks again and sorry for bowing out.

    • No probs, see you Friday/Saturday

  10. do u still have tickets available ????

    women’s perfume

  11. Hey Al!

Unfortunately I can’t make it on Saturday!

Work won’t let me have the day off since I didn’t give them enough notice!

Is it possible to keep the ticket for the next conference?? ;P

If not then not to worry, and I will be happy for someone else to go in my place. Though I demand an in depth report of what it was like 😀

    Thanks

    Abdul

  12. *** ONE MORE FREE TICKET ***
One of the winners cannot attend, as it’s such short notice now I will give the ticket to the next person who leaves a comment and can definitely attend.

  13. I think it’s two now, because there is me and also Matt!

So come on guys, don’t let this opportunity go!!!

and further more, Leeds is a great city!!!

  14. Any chance you would consider running a parallel of this conference in Canada? (preferably Toronto)

  15. Can’t believe Al’s comment was written 2 days ago and no one has taken up the offer. I wasn’t planning on going to it this time around but if a ticket is available I can certainly shift my plans around to fit it in.

  16. Well I would have taken up the offer but I bought two tickets for my wife and I right after the winners were posted. 🙁

  17. South Africa is the most beautiful and awesome country to live in, but we are really starved of events like these. Does conference calendar offer international listings?

    • South Africa doesn’t seem to be on the list. What can I say? The joys of living in a third world country does not include being at the forefront of technology related happenings and events.

  18. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Al for the ticket to Think Visibility, had an excellent time & learnt a lot. Will definitely be trying to get back for the next ThinkVis in 2010.

Good to meet you Al & Scott!
    Thanks again, Greg

  19. Good to hear it was beneficial! Looking forward to Scott and Al´s write up of the event.

  20. Very generous ticket giveaway 🙂 I look forward to seeing the posts about how it all went. I’ve missed the last two and I’m going to make sure I’m there for next years - third time lucky!

  21. Congrats to all the winning people! I hope you have great time & great reviews to share about the conference!

  22. Congratulations to all the winners! I really like the way that you broke down your reasons for each individual winner….now we know what it takes to impress (or not impress) you…heheheheh

    • Ha ha - I think in my case the way to do it is to literally have genuinely no idea what you’re talking about 😀

Looking forward to reading the write up and review on the conference and ahope everyone got something beneficial out of it.

  23. I’m so jealous of the winner. I hope you’ll do this again next year…

  24. Has anyone done a write up of this event?
Any bloggers elsewhere done one or uploaded their presentations?

  25. Cheers for that - off to have a read now!
Either of you have post planned this month? You know we are sitting here waiting for one!

  26. Forgot to ask: Are either of you doing much serious work with WordPress?
I read Yoasts blog and I gather he was there. A lot of his stuff unfortunately goes over my head (early days…) but he seems to be the man to ask when it comes to advanced WP work.
