Elite Retreat New York

Posted by Al on July 15th, 2009 .

This is just a heads up that tickets for Elite Retreat New York are now available. It’s on 1-2nd October 2009 and if you’re in the position where you can afford the $5,000 admission fee it is well worth attending.

It is aimed at entrepreneurs that are already successful and to help them take their business to the next level. I attended last year and gained heaps from the experience. Due to a packed schedule I won’t be attending this one unfortunately.

As a side note there’s is a good chance of there being one in London next year, so if you’re in the UK and not quite at that level yet make it something to aim for.

More info over on Conference Calendar (Yeah yeah I’m plugging CC).

I think it will again sell out very fast, especially with Seth Godin doing the key note. Jeremy is due to announce it publicly on Shoemoney today and once that happens I’d expect the limited number of tickets to fly.

One of the nice things about being a past attendee is you get advanced notice and a pretty hefty discount.

Do you know of any similar conferences based in the UK this year?

No I don’t but I will be keeping a look out. I’d definitely recommend Think Visibility in Leeds but that is a completely different sort of event but there should be some very good networking opportunities on the nights before and after.

$5000 is a lot of loot, especially if converted to my local South African currency….factoring in the cost of airline tickets and hotel accommodation just throws it way out of my price range!

It’s not cheap at all, I dread to think how much flights would be from where you are

Yeah this definitely is a conference open to anyone. For most people this would be out of their price range. Some day I hope to be making enough to justify such an expense.

5k is a bit too much for me. Especially since that is without all the related expenses for travel and hotels. But some day I’ll be there :)

Interesting – I was already planning to be in New York October 1-4 on vacation. I wonder if I should try and work around this? Or would the $5K ticket even deliver return if I’m not entirely dedicated to affiliate marketing?

Hey Justin,

I actually just signed up for the Elite Retreat. I’m waiting to hear back on if I’ll be able to go or not.

I’m earning about $4k a month online now if that helps give you a ball park, but I spoke with Al about it before registering (through his affiliate link – thanks for the time to answer the questions etc.)

If you are already planning on being there and can afford it I would say do it.

I’m looking forward to meeting a ton of people.

Chris, the value of face-to-face networking can not ever be underestimated, even in this isolated online environment our personas inhabit. Man is a social animal, and when we bring all our senses to bear in interacting with each other we get the most fulfillment out of the experience.
