Inspirational Failures

I speak to a lot of Internet marketers and entrepreneurs and one thing that comes out time and time again is the number of failures. I’ll happily admitting having more failed businesses than I do successful ones. I own more websites that make less than $1 a day than sites that earn over $100. I have more failed relationships than happy ones. Most people do.

The GREAT thing about failed ventures is what you learn along the way and can take into your next more successful ventures. So if you’re struggling at the moment, appreciate the education.

I watched this video the other day and found it REALLY humbling, if you’re struggling to move on with something check it out.

As always your comments and thoughts are appreciated.

  1. I remember seeing this the other day on Twitter when you mentioned, very inspirational stuff!

Like you say, we all have our failures, the main thing is you learn from them and turn it into a positive for the future.

Can anyone post a link to it elsewhere?

  5. To be perfectly honest that video was a little disconcerting for me at first. But he really does have a good message that people need to learn. I like to put it this way:

“Everything’s always OK in the end. So if things aren’t OK, it’s not the end.”

  6. Great video, puts things into perspective a bit. No matter how hard you think your own life is sometimes, that guy in video must have had it 100 times harder. Learn from your mistakes, its makes you better and stronger.

  7. That is a beautiful video…very moving. I don’t think it could have come at a more appropriate time with the financial state of the world and people going through tough times as a result of it.

Inspirational to say the least !

  12. Definitely a great video. I’m always looking for something to motivate me. It’s so easy to get down on yourself trying to make your online business go at full speed. This video makes you step back and look at things in perspective.

  13. Video’s very motivational, without doubt. And the guy is the real man.

It has been known for years that it doesn’t matter how many times you fall but it does matter how many times you stand up and keep moving.

“Never, never, never give up” - is one of my favourite quotes.

  14. Beautiful video, and really inspirational. One thing I want to mention …there is a mistake in the title of this post “inpirational”.

  16. Very moving video, makes you realise how lucky you are.

On the original subject of the post i’m in the same position. It’s almost like the famous 80/20 rule as far as my sites are concerned. The ones you least expect to do well do, and those you have great aspirations for fail.

  17. Really nice video.

I think everyone needs to watch/read about an inspiring story every few weeks or months (depending on his/her failures which i have a lot) to keep himself going.

    Thanks for sharing.

  18. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason…and your failures are merely the stepping stones to your eventual success.

  19. The key to succeeding in life is to move on from your failures and learn from them. If you never admit that you failed than you can never succeed. Before you can succeed in life you have fail some times. But if you learn from those failures you will succeed in the future

  20. Nick is absolutely amazing! A few of my friends saw him speak in Costa Rica then forwarded the video over to be. I was blown away at the mans character and will. It still gives me chills when I watch it. Great post 🙂

  21. Video’s very motivational and a beautiful one, and really inspirational. The key to succeeding in life is to move on from the failures and take some inspiration from them.

  22. That video is amazing. It really does make you appreciate what you have. I have everything compared to that man.. and we shouldn’t moan so much about what we don’t have. It was really good that he was speaking to school kids, because a lot of kids can see no way forward when they run into problems. We all need to look for the light at the end of the tunnel and we’ll pull through eventually.

  23. The video has been removed from youtube but I watched it on another site. You are right this video is really humbling and inspirational. Especially when he falls down and talks about getting right back up even without arms and legs. As he says, trying for it 100 times, again and again and not giving up!

  24. I found this post while going your your archives. unfortunately the video is no longer available on YouTube. Is there another link to go and view it perhaps?
