This is a great idea, I might add this to a few domains I plan to lease.

One issue though. I’m on Firefox on Mac, when I mouseover it doesn’t peel out, it just disappears.

Great find on the peelaway script. I remember looking into them a while back and ultimately deciding to do something else. When I saw that a nearby small-town newspaper had adopted them, it made me wonder if I’d be taking them down as fast as I put them up.

Price tapestry works fine Mike, I have used it, it’s cheap and imports feeds and displays them well enough - timed out a lot when trying to import them for me but that could be cheap hosting I was testing it with.

Scott, that future post on the script you are using for importing feeds would be very interesting reading. Been looking into the Price Tapestry script myself which I imagine does similar stuff to yours and was wondering if you had any experience with it? Cheers.

I’d love to have sold the com The feeds you get are CSV files, like excel sheets that list the product name, description, price, category. I paid someone to create a script that could import the data from the feed into a database and then display it - I’ll probably do a post on that soon.

bedroomfurniture.com sold for $280k - I own the .net , I only use merchants with product feeds which I can download and update every few weeks which allows that site to display products with prices.

Question about bedroomfurniture.com: I just put up a simple adsense page for http://www.futonfurniture.co.uk and I am eventually going to add affiliate products. I’ve been wondering about how to deal with pricing. The affiliate program I’m thinking of using doesn’t have pricing in their product link. On your bedroomfurniture.com pages you have pricing for the products. Is this hard coded? And, if it is, how do you make sure prices on your site stay current with the affiliate vendor’s store, without doing lots of manual work?

I saw some product available to sell online but the only decent banner he had involved the page peel script - which someone else who is no doubt him or his mate was selling for something like $80 so to get it for free is very handy
