Great list of tools, after I make my first online dollar I will start to look more into the paid services. One item I think the list really needs is GrandCentral - very important for any listings you make if you still plan to sleep at night.

Maybe reciprocal links are not dead. Actually nobody said they were. But the thing is they are in the spotlight (the big G has an eye on them ). A reciprocal link ain’t really natural. You may say that you only exchange links with your friends, but on the other side there are lots of blog owners exchanging links to artificially boost their power.
Thus, even if Google hasn’t punished link exchanges too drasticaly for now, you may never know what is going to happen next. Directories and paid links were valuable a year ago… And see where they are now. And also where are those that used them excessively in SERPs…
So, you are free to use link exchanges, but you do it on your own risk
