Over on Blog Storm Patrick has done a cool list of the Top 100 SEO and Internet Marketing blogs.

61 Billion Searches Conducted Worldwide in August 2007

Google Sites ranked as the top worldwide search property in August with 37.1 billion searches conducted. Of that total number, 31 billion occurred at the Google search engine and 5 billion occurred at YouTube.com. Yahoo! Sites ranked second with 8.5 billion searches, while Baidu.com, a Chinese language search engine, followed in third place with more than 3.2 billion searches. Microsoft Sites ranked in fourth place worldwide, while Korea’s NHN Corporation, which owns Naver.com, ranked fifth with 2 billion searches worldwide.

Google’s shares breach $600. Google went public in way back in 2004 costing $85 a share.

A change in Adsense program policies for Adsense for Mobile (thanks Jensense). The mobile version of Self Made Minds and Coolest Gadgets are doing over 2,000 page views a day between them which is better than I was expecting, minimal income off them though so one for the future I hope.

*** PRODUCTIVITY WARNING ***
If you’ve never played Desktop Tower Defence before be prepared to have a very unproductive day, it takes a little getting into to but once you’re addicted that is it. We also created SelfMadeMinds group so when you submit your score we can compare, is Juergen of Criticker up to the challenge? There’s a nice history of how the game came about and I remember reading somewhere that the creator is making close to 6 figures annually from ad revenue.

Google is way ahead there. Do you do well with Yahoo traffic or MSN? Yahoo beats MSN for me… but both are way behind what google sends.

I counted for several of those mobile impressions :) It’s cool being able to browse quickly while on the move.

DTD… Cool game. I started playing that one a bit ago and agree that it’s totally addictive. Our IT team here in the UK and US were hooked for a few days.

Sweet, thanks for the link to the templates! I really like the ‘bright side of life’ one, that could be used in a few different industries!

Yep, I like the bright side of life template too. And I’ve been playing that Desktop Tower Defense game but I still prefer playing it on Warcraft 3.

PLUS, I don’t want to waste my day, lol.
