That’s a wrap! - Friday 31st August

Posted by Al on August 31st, 2007 .

I’m heading off to Scotland this afternoon to meet up with Scott, so it’s a good job I heard about Double Wires earlier in the week. The high score to beat is 107.82 yds by Scott’s 7yr old son :) .

Other news:
Yahoo complicit in rights abuse and acts of torture by revealing email addresses & IP addresses with the Chinese Government. Source BBC

it acknowledges that providing Chinese officials with information has enabled them to make arrests.

Over on netbusinessblog a nice simple 3 step model on launching an online business.

Great post by Wendy on hosting lessons learned to survive the Digg effect, I’ve been through this before and there’s a lot of sound advice here.

I’ve been invited to join the Chitika Premium Publishers Club, it sounds pretty cool with instant chat to your account rep, real time reporting, CPM ads and custom ad units, I’ll review this in a later post when I’ve had chance to play with it more.

Avinash Kaushik gets 3 different perspectives on analytics from three interviews.

I’m now off to see if I can pack a weekend’s worth of supplies in my laptop bag, have a great weekend folks.

Well I never do you know I must have gone post blind and didn’t see it.

It sort of just clicked and suddenly went through 10 levels in less then an hour.
Sadly my hols were pretty interupted anyway.

Good links, thanks. I didn’t know about the Chitika premium publisher club so maybe that would work for me too.

My latest earnings have been over $60 per day so maybe I qualify. ;)

The wordpress hosting Digg link is a also very useful if I ever get to the stage getting Dugg multiple times.

By the way, did you know that Site Build It sites survive a Digg without a hitch?

On double wires I managed to score 377 if I remember correctly. After about 200 it became a lot easier. It seems like once you are past all the squiggles you just carry on from the start but the hard parts are ommited. Its then just a matter of hanging in with out falling asleep.
